I hope this blog will inspire you to be creative and help you find the inspiration you were looking for. If not I hope it at least managed to entertain :)
Sorry I haven't posted as much as I promised. As some of you know, I'm moving to England for about 9 months.| I'll be staying at a host family there and will be attending the 6th form. And I'll be leaving Saturday 28th, so as you may understand, I'm quite busy. But I just wanted to check in and share this picture with you! Also there's another post on my other blog http://wribie.blogspot.com/
What do you think is in this magical book? If you found one yourself, what would you do with it?
Please leave a comment! :)
This picture is called the Magic of Books and was shot by mumbojumbo89

Yaay time for the second Google Random! I'm still feeling very colourful like last time so now let's search some colours! :)
For those of you who don't know, Google Random is where I give you a few words that you can google for pictures that hopefully inspire you a bit :) If you're searching for story idea's or inspiration for painting or drawing, or anything at all, just take one or two pictures from each colour. Then try to make a story around it. Or imagine it's the cover of a book and try to make up a title for it!
#1 BLUE
Let me give you an example of a story idea. Time for Murder and Mystery!! All around Paris young women have gone missing, all that is left at the scene is a beautiful blue rose. The detective soon finds the connection between the special flower that only blooms once every month--at a full moon--and the vanished women. He then embarks on a search through the old city, following a path of flowers. Then bodies start to turn up....... (*insert evil laugh*)
Something like that :) Have fun!
I just love this one! But I'm a sucker for all butterflies ^^
#2 RED
( try searching "colour red" instead of red. It gives better results.)
Who is this woman? Why is she putting up that red lipstick? Is she going on a date? Or is it something else? :)
This one was just too beautiful not to show!
#3 GREEN
One word: LOL I bet this would make a very interesting story.
A bit creepy, but highly interesting. What would happen if a tree suddenly came to life (well, became mobile, it's already in fact alive) and wanted revenge?
I think that's enough for today :) Please let me know in the comments what you think! And if anyone actually liked the ideas I had by some of the pictures, feel free to use them! :) Have fun googling! Green Day fans will be happy 'cause they turn up a lot when you type "green".
Random fact for fun:
The song I'm listening to now, while I was typing all this is "This is your life" from Switchfoot. It's brilliant! :)
This is your life, are you who you wanna be? This is your life are you who you wanna be? Is it everything you dreamed that it would be when the world was younger and you had everything to lose.
Today I went to a flea market with my brother, to sell some of our old stuff and that of my mom. She's a collector, and we had a lot of fun different stuff to sell. When we drove there this morning everything seemed to go wrong. The weather was supposed to be nice for today--but it was raining (softly, but still) and when we arrived at the flea market it was very, very small.
Because we didn't have much else to do and had a car full of junk, we didn't give up and go back home (though we wanted to). Lucky we didn't!
Cause it turned out to be great fun, the weather improved (so I got sunburns.....) and I earned some extra money to take to England.
The reason I'm telling you this is because when the sky cleared up, and I looked to see if there was any more rain coming; I noticed these beautiful white puffy clouds. Have you ever just lain back on the ground to watch clouds drift by? I don't think people do it enough. I don't do it enough either. But I do know that all my life I've loved looking at clouds from my window, or from the car and see all sorts of things in them. I can see dragons, or a beautiful lady, or a cat and many odd things, that I love to write about one day.
If you're looking for inspiration for writing or drawing or painting, or if you're just looking for fun ways to train your imagination. Or to spend a boring day: Go watch clouds!! Take a small notebook and a sketch book with you and write down and draw what you see. Trust me it's fun and perhaps you'll get an idea out of it!
Here are some pictures of clouds. If you can see something in them leave tell me in the comments! :)
In the next one I can see an old man sleeping. Can you see him too or do you see something else?
If anyone else can see what I see in this one that would be awesome!
Sorry I didn't post anything yesterday, but after having an absolutely horrible morning I got sick in the afternoon and couldn't post anything.
Not feeling well did give me the opportunity though to lie on my bed and watch some movies.
And movies really inspire me a lot.
I've mentioned this before on my other blog, but there are several movies that tent to get me in the mood to be creative. And there are movies that just give me a peaceful, clear feeling afterwards, which in its turn gives me inspiration to write or draw or something else.
So here are just a few of the movies that I love.
1. The Last Samurai
I know, you wouldn't expect that. But I watched this movie yesterday and I've watched it a hundred times before. I just love the way how Nathan changes while being with the samurai and how he finally finds peace. And I'm a big fan of the Japanese culture, old and new, and this is just one of those beautiful movies that gives me a peaceful feeling. (Even though it doesn't exactly have a happy ending.... hmm...weird). If you've seen this movie what do you think?
2. Bridge to Terabithia
The reason I love this movie so much (and the book) is because it's actually this simple story about two kids who use their imagination to make their lives one big adventure.
I just love the way the movie was shot, it's so well done, while usually the movie is a lot worse than the book, I love the movie better. After seeing this movie I always feel like doing something creative, usually drawing, because Jess draws a lot in the movie.
3. Confessions of a shopaholic.
I have the strange habit of putting on movies while I'm cleaning my room. So that I can hear the movie and occasionally watch a scene. I know I'm weird. Anyway movies like this do not only want me go shopping (lol) but also makes me wanna sort out my closet and things and mix them up and make something new out of them. I really wish I could make my own clothes, but it's also great fun to just buy funny accessories to brighten up old clothes. Or to buy cheap (secondhand) clothes and experiment with them and try and make something new and cute.
So that were three of the many movies I love. And looking back I realize they are all completely different. This is a bit of a short post but I'm stealing my mom's pc here and she needs to get back to work.
If you've seen any of these movies tell me what you thought about them! Do you have movies that inspire you to be creative? If you haven't watched them I really recommend them to you.
Have fun! Oh and tell me if you want me to do something like this again!
Time for the first Google Random!! What is google random? Well I'm glad you asked! .... you didn't? ..... I'm going to tell you anyway. (Yeah I'm in a weird mood right now.... sorry)
Google Random is where I tell you random words that you can google to get pretty or weird or inspirational or random pictures. And I'll be showing a few of my favorites every time. Please tell me what you think of this idea!
#1: Colourful To stay in tune with yesterday's post I thought I'd do something colourful again. So just go to Google.com and then to pictures. And search "colourful" or "colorful" (they get different hits) Here are a few of my favorites:
There were a lot of these little collages and personally I love them. It's also great fun to make one of these for yourself! Or on paper by using old magazines! :)
What girl wouldn't love getting roses like these? I wonder if, one place on earth where no humans live, flowers like these actually exist.
I just thought these were very pretty. If you look through them you can see the world in different colours!
#2 beautiful landscape
Imagine running into this on your walk!
Something tells me that this isn't very real.... but it is very beautiful! Again one of those pictures you could write a story about. What kind of tree do you think it is? What does it do, does it grand wishes? How did it get there? Does it bloom the most beautiful flowers at full moon? You see what I mean.
Talk about a sunset!
Well I hope you liked them! Leave me a comment telling me what you think! And if you searched it or not!
If you like my blog so far, please leave a comment and /or follow me! :)
Don't you just love those pictures that tell an entire story? You've probably seen a lot of them, even though perhaps you never realized. They are those kind of pictures or paintings that just keep you captivated and you can't help looking at them.
I think all the writers under us agree that you could write a whole story around them. I'm planning to upload at least one of those pictures every week. There the ones that I personally love.
This one is called The Magic Light
Here is the link to the artists deviant art account: http://natsuki-3.deviantart.com/ Go tell her she's awesome, and check out her gallery. Her paintings are beautiful.
One thing that always makes me feel creative is looking at colourful things. Especially if I want to do something artsy. And not just any colourful thing, but especially those pictures with a LOT of colourful things. Like a whole page full of strawberries or icecreams. Don't know what I'm talking about?
Here are a few:
(Oh and just for the record, none of these are made by me unless... they are in which case I'll mention that they are made by me. I'm just sharing other people's art).
This is one about strawberries (yes I'm captain obvious) but you can search for any food like banana's or skittles or chocolate etc.
Fabrics :) I love going to a fabric store as well. If I go to one again I'll make a photo and post them here.
Pencils. There are a lot of beautiful pictures of pencils on the internet. They always make me want to draw something or do something with colours.
Can you actually believe that these are beads? They're rows of plastic tubes filled with beads!
These two pictures are actually made by me because I couldn't find good ones with ribbons. Yes we have that many ribbons. Actually we have about four times this amount at my home :)
I hope this inspires you (a little). Try searching for more on google!
